CBD in MCT Oil is one of the highest in demand CBD tinctures that are currently available. MCT oil is a derivative of coconut oil. Coconut oil consists of mostly C8 (Caprylic Acid), C10 (Capric Acid), C12 (Lauric Acid), C18 (Stearic Acid) C18:1 (Oleic Acid), and C18:2 (Linoleic Acid). These are all fatty acid chains. C6-C12 are Medium chains. Under C6 is short Chains. Over C12 is long chains. MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglycerides. C12 is considered an MCT, but it doesn’t act like a typical MCT. C12 makes up about 50% of coconut oil. This is a main reason for the thick consistency of coconut oil. MCT is the isolated C-8 and C-10 chains. There will be trace amounts of other chains in it, but for the most part, MCT consists of C-8 and C-10 (Capra Fatty Acids). MCT has a nice light liquid texture to it and has a hint of pure coconut flavor to it. The body really likes these chains as they are very easy to process
